Danyal,

You can NOT use lcov WITHOUT gcov WITHOUT gcc. Whether CUTTER supports lcov or not, I \
guess you have to ask the people that make CUTTER. But I guess that's beside the \
point, since you are using HP's own compiler. This answers all your queries or voids \
them since there is no point in answering.

Regards,
Arjen

Subject: [Ltp-coverage] Need your help
Importance: High

Hi,

We are using HP-UX (Not UNIX)as operating system.
We are using CC (Not GCC) as compiler, to compile for ‘C-code'.
We are using CUTTER tool for our unit testing tool.
Now we are interested to use LCOV to get coverage report.

Now kindly reply my below queries. I got a lot of help from Arjen, but I have bit \
confuse yet.

I have few queries as below.

ü Is it required us to install GCOV in the same environment to get ‘LCOV' and \
‘genhtml' or only we have to install ‘LCOV and genhtml'?

[Answer]

ü Actual link from where we can download ‘LCOV' and ‘Genhtml' for install in \
our HP-UX operating system environment.

[Answer]

ü Unit test we are using CUTTER and compiling our code by CC (not GCC) and getting \
unit test result Now how we can get the coverage report by LCOV and genhtml ?

[Answer]

ü CUTTER unit test report will support by LCOV or not?

[Answer]

ü As we are using CC for our compilation, is it feasible to generate coverage \
report by LCOV ?

[Answer]

Kindly response at the earliest.

Thanks in advance for understanding.

Regards,
DS
