Hi,
If I try to remove a job that is actively being printed (as in
being sent to the printer), the job properly disappears but lpq reports:

Status: scribe: Update_status: no identifier for 'hfA177' at 16:07:24.713
Filter_status: transferring 1905190 bytes at 16:07:23.653

and the queue stops processing jobs until another is submitted.

Using "lpd -D5", the first indication of any problem seems to be:

2002-04-24-16:07:24.701 lodur [4178] (Server) scribe:
	Get_hold_file: checking on 'hfA177'
2002-04-24-16:07:24.701 lodur [4178] (Server) scribe:
	Get_file_image: 'hfA177', maxsize 0
2002-04-24-16:07:24.702 lodur [4178] (Server) scribe:
	Checkread: file 'hfA177'
2002-04-24-16:07:24.702 lodur [4178] (Server) scribe:
Checkread: cannot open 'hfA177', No such file or directory

(This is LPRng 3.8.10 on Solaris 7, printers both via JetDirect (%9100)
and AppleTalk.)

Any ideas? Are the queue files getting removed too early for some reason?

Thanks,
_Rob
