I was able to use the expire script on a user we had just gave the domain coordinator \
privilege to. It still says they are a domain coordinator in the GUI, but when they \
login they don't actually have that role. Is there a way to delete the account all \
together?

Thanks,
Richard

Issues?

Thanks, the upgrade to 2.11.0 is on the list for us to do. We'll be upgrading our \
non-prod instance next week where I am testing this. I grabbed the newer version and \
now am getting this:

perl loncom/build/expire_DC_role.pl dc_purdue2:purdue purdue
Language: English (en). Change? [ar|de|en|es|fa|fr|he|ja|pt|ru|tr|zh]?
**** ERROR **** dc_purdue2:purdue is not a LON-CAPA user for which this is the \
homeserver.

It appears to not think the user exists even though they appear in they show up when \
searching for users in the GUI. It looks like it's searching for their directory and \
they don't have one.

Richard

Hi,

There was a bug in the version of this script (rev. 1.2) included with LON-CAPA \
2.10.1, which is fixed in 2.11.0 (released June 2014) which included rev. 1.5 of \
expire_DC_role.pl.

As loncapa.purdue.edu is running 2.10.1, you should get version 1.3 of \
expire_DC_role.pl from the LON-CAPA CVS repository, and use that.

wget -O expire_DC_role.pl
http://source.loncapa.org/cgi-bin/cvsweb.cgi/~checkout~/loncom/build/expire_DC_role.pl?rev=1.3;content-type=text/plain'
