Issue was occuring with the 1.3.0-alpha4 build of logback classic. I have n=
ot yet found the reason why the logs were not being sent from receiver to l=
ocal appenders however reverting to stable (1.2.3) fixed my issue.

Hi All,

I have recently been trying to configure logback in a centralized logging s=
erver project. I have run into a problem in which, even after my appender (=
Log-sending program) has connected with the receiver (log-server) and the c=
onnection established messaged is shown, the logs are not displayed through=
 the server appenders (File and Console).
I have tried both client/ server configurations and received the same resul=
ts (ServerSocketAppender->SocketReceiver AND SocketAppender->ServerSocketRe=
cevier) even when using the example configuration exampls on the logback we=
bsite. On top of this I have used a packet sniffer and have confirmed that =
packets are being sent from appender to receiver (listening on 127.0.0.1:85=
55). Changing the port that was being used did not resolve the problem eith=
er.

Any help with this would be greatly appreciated as the only workaround I ha=
ve is to use an intermediate Database which greatly limits what I wish to d=
o.
