Subject:    console messages appears twice after I redeploy EAR file in weblo

Hi, there:

We are deploying our j2ee application in an EAR file into weblogic 6.1 sp2.
We are using log4j to print out message to console and log file. The logger
is a singleton. I am running weblogic on windows 2000.

If EAR is redeployed n times, the logger would print out n lines of
duplicate messages.

However, if you deploy our application with a jar file which contains all
EJBs and web component in an exploded form. This issue only happens when
redeploy the jar file. If we redeploy any servlet and jsp under this case,
the logger printouts are OK.

Is this an issue from weblogic or from log4j itself?
