Allow RollingFileAppender to do Rolling with a Date Pattern or \
DailyRollingFileAppender to have Max Backup Parameter
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Key: LOG4J2-35
URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/LOG4J2-35
Project: Log4j 2
Issue Type: New Feature
Components: Appenders
Environment: any
Reporter: JT
It would be nice to be able roll files with a date pattern and not just an index \
while still being able to specify the max file size and number of copies to keep. \
Alternatively it would be good to be able to us the DailyRollingFileAppender with a \
max copies to keep parameter
