DailyRollingFileAppender do not append

           Summary: DailyRollingFileAppender do not append
           Product: Log4j
           Version: 1.2
          Platform: HP
        OS/Version: HP-UX
            Status: NEW
          Severity: Normal
          Priority: Other
         Component: Appender
        AssignedTo: log4j-dev@logging.apache.org
        ReportedBy: stephane.bosc2@atosorigin.com

Our appender which is extended from the DailyRollingFileAppender has stopped to
append after creating a new file : it overwrites the current log. For the first
log file everything is OK. Whereas the second log file -the new one- do not
append anymore. No new file is created afterwards.

Note : Our 24 hours a day application software is running under weblogic
platform 8.1 (with JDK 1.4.1).
Note 2 : Our appender manages only a dynamic change of the file name.
