Subject:    Closing LogFactor5 & JVM persistence

What's the rationale for not System.exit()ing when you close LogFactor5? 
As far as I can tell, there's no way to get the window back, and from 
what I've read, it doesn't sound like it even continues to accept 
logging messages. So what gives?
