I did check for that, and only one instance was running.

I did, look at the last three lines of the provided output. :-)

I've seen this happen once before on this machine. A svc -d / svc -u
fixed the problem. I left it "want up" for now since it's not a critical
service and I'd like to diagnose the problem.
