There are also ISP load balancers as well as security device load 
balancers (like load balancing IDS, content inspection engines (i.e. 
your antivirus, antispam, your BlueCoats and eSafes of the world..., 
firewalls etc...). On top of that, you have WAF (Web Application 
Firewalls) built in on certain products etc...

So overall you have a mixture of networking, security and application 
people to work with.

In most cases you would need networking people to talk to your security 
guys and application guys.
