Bug ID: 18335
Summary: LLVM (and clang) tests leave files in /tmp
Product: new-bugs
Version: trunk
Hardware: PC
OS: Linux
Status: NEW
Severity: normal
Priority: P
Component: new bugs
Assignee: unassignedbugs@nondot.org
Reporter: mgorny@gentoo.org
CC: llvmbugs@cs.uiuc.edu
Classification: Unclassified
Well, two bugs actually:
1. some tests leave files in /tmp after they're done,
2. some (possibly all :)) tests do not seem to respect TMPDIR environment
variable and use /tmp instead of the directory specified there.
As a result, after each run of the test suite I get a few dozens of random .c,
.m, .in, .h files in /tmp. I'd really preferred that:
1. all tests placed their files in $TMPDIR, or even in a single subdirectory of
that,
2. all tests removed their files after success (and xfail?).
