[Avoiding posting a Listar-specific question on the MLMAP list.]

If a long description will be wrapped in output, what will happen to it in
the config file? What about text editors which cannot handle line lengths
greater than 255, or (gasp) 80 characters? Will people who edit a list's
config file be limited to using either text editors which can avoid word
wrap, or 'sed'/'perl'/'awk', etc. to avoid corrupting the config file?

Or can a line ending in a backslash character be used to escape newlines?

Will listar read

description = foo foo foo foo foo foo foo foo foo foo foo foo foo foo1 \
foo foo foo foo foo foo foo foo foo foo foo foo foo foo2 \
              foo

as

"foo foo foo foo foo foo foo foo foo foo foo foo foo foo1 foo
foo foo foo foo foo foo foo foo foo foo foo foo foo2 foo"?

or

"foo foo foo foo foo foo foo foo foo foo foo foo foo foo1 foo foo foo foo
foo foo foo foo foo foo foo foo foo foo2 foo"

or

"foo foo foo foo foo foo foo foo foo foo foo foo foo foo1
foo foo foo foo foo foo foo foo foo foo foo foo foo foo2
foo"?
