Please post the lines of /var/log/messages that come from the
IEEE 1394 drivers as well as the whole /proc/bus/ieee1394/devices.
The chance a subscriber spots something familiar in there is
higher than the chance that a subscriber possesses the same
enclosure & had the same problem & fixed it & and did not tell
us here before. :-)
