I have no problems whatsoever using wlan-ng driver with prism2
mini-PCI card in Fujitsu S-series laptop running RedHat 7.3.
I use DHCP server integrated into D-Link DI-614+ wireless
router. How do you know you'll have an issue with this
setup?

Subject: [lwlan-user] dhcp setup?

I've got a laptop coming tommorrow that uses an integrated "mini PCI"
prism2 chipset for 802.11b wireless. I found out that the wlan-ng
package
is pretty much the best driver for the prism2 out there. However, people
seem to have some problems getting network settings via DHCP when using
wlan-ng with their prism2 cards.

Does anyone out there have experience with this issue? What specific
boottime commands do you run, and from where? Please be VERY specific
(list all modprobe, wlanctl-ng, ifconfig comands, etc). Thank in
advance
for your time!
