It is a mini-PCI card that is NOT hot-swappable.  It sits in a little 
compartment
in the middle of the laptop.

We need the data sheet.  I've tried the three possibilities suggested by 
removing
one or both of these flags...

[Although I know of some students who claim to have a working FreeBSD
driver; I'm trying to get a hold of their code and information...]
