   I tested my linuxbox router with a packet generator. After a while,
the linuxbox router couldn't receive or transmit packets any more. There
was no error message printed. But the message from /proc/net/dev
indicated that "fifo" of net device increased very quickly. And
"free" showed that about 50M of 64M memory was used.

Linux kernel 2.0.35.
