   Take this as a comment from the peanut gallery since I'm not in a
position to do any work on this right now, but it seems obvious to me
that what we want is a bootable loader which understands ELF.  Rick seems
to have the closest approach - the channel progs for card images to
load itself into memory then followed by the program image - only it
needs be modified not just to dump the image itself but to parse out
the headers and load the pieces and set up registers appropriately
prior to LPSW into the kernel.
