I have 4 days of vacation this weekend, and I'm hoping to be able to use
some of it to port to the new kernels.  They did something to the 2.4 line
that did away with some static protocol registration stuff.  I will have
to figure out how to register the VLAN protocol now....

I think the 2.2.18 port will be very easy...mainly just a patch problem there.
