No errors, it just hangs. If I remove the ipip real server, then subsequent \
connections to the local real servers work. When I put the remote real back in, using \
wrr or wlc, when it tries the remote real, the connection hangs.

When I'm on the remote real server, I can telnet to the vip, so I know that the vip \
and the service are working, so it must be something I'm missing with the tunnel

how about the errors you get when connecting with the telnet 
client.
