I had no intention of joining in any of the discussions here, I was just 
planning on lurking for a couple of weeks before I buy a dvb-t card.  

But I jumped in with what I thought was helpful information and 
found; A, that it wasn't, and B, that my news group habits of 
snip early, snip often, snip hard and interleave replies doesn't really 
work well here.  Worse, I am ready and replying to daily digests, so 
threading is completely mucked up and attributions have gone awry.   
For reference, my earlier post and Peter's original post are included below.
