My kernel is complilled modular and i use modprobe for
dinamic detection and loading using /etc/modules.conf.
The problem is that my camera start well, i can see and
receive image,i can send and receive sound BUT:
-THE OTHER PART CAN SEE ONLY A BAD IMAGE (IS A STATION THAT
RUN WIN98 AND NETMEETING in my LAN)-I CAN`T SWITCH TO BOOTH
IMAGE MY GONOMEMEETING. IT WILL REMAIN BLOCKED AND I CAN SEE
THIS MESSAGE:
Gtk-WARNING **: invalid cast from `(unknown)' to `GtkObject'
Gtk-CRITICAL **: file gtkobject.c: line 1080
(gtk_object_get_data): assertion `GTK_IS_OBJECT (object)'
failed.
IS POSSIBILE TO BE FROM gdk-pixbuf package? I use
gdk-pixbuf-0.11.0-8 version!
On my Linux RedHat 6.2 machine:
I use Gnomemeeting software last version, and in it`s setup,
at Device settings Section is writted:
Audio Devices Section
Player: /dev/dsp (my AWE 64 sound blaster)
Player Mixer: /dev/mixer (the same as above)
Recorder: /dev/dsp1 (i supose that is the microphone on my
webcam)
Recorder Mixer: /dev/mixer1 (the same as above)
Video Device Section
Video device: /dev/video1
Video channel: 0
------------------------------------------------------------
-
In conclusion:
- what does it mean sound-service-3-0 because i don`t have
another
sound card on my computer? I suspect that all toubles are
caused by invalid parametters for audio.o USB driver module
in my /etc/modules.conf. But in this case, why i can send and
receive sounds?
- why my system remain blocked when i switch to booth
images?
Any suggestion?
I want to thanks in advance for your kindness.
Regards,
Alex Suchici
