Good article; thanks for taking the time to talk to the pressfolks.

Regarding speed, I am interested in 2.0 for mass storage.  The 10
megabytes/sec throughput I get with an external USB2 hard drive is just
fine compared to the performance of internal notebook drives.  And even
weakly optimized 2.0 drivers should be able to get full data rates from
a 20x CDRW, something like 6 minutes to burn a full CD-R.  (I can only
get about 10x so far; still working on it.)
