Yes, definitely. Since you have warranty for the harddrive you'll get a 
new one. I have a failing HD in my desktop computer which lead to read 
errors. Nowadays the HD is still working but I expect her to fail at 
any given moment. So there is only unimportant data on it (mostly KDE 
CVS repositories).
