In combination with my Nokia phone, I use it to access the Internet via GSM or 
GPRS. This is good as you can do really sad and geeky things like going on 
IRC while on long train/bus journeys.

Also, I can make GSM data calls within my daily allowance so it's cheaper than 
land line calls -- just extremely slow!
