IIRC the FXA49 has 512MB RAM (maximum supported by the motherboard) so you 
can't upgrade it anymore. The FXA47 (known as the FX505 in Europe) has 256MB 
RAM so can be upgraded using standard So-dimms. I'd recommend Crucial for 
memory upgrades (www.crucial.com/uk or www.crucial.com). The memory is 
excellent quality, it's well priced, the service is fast and efficient, and 
you get the money back if it doesn't work.
