This email is to inform you about the release of version '3.3' of 'FreeMat'
through freshmeat.net. All URLs and other useful information can be found

The changes in this release are as follows:
The output format for FreeMat numbers is now closer to MATLABs, and
can be adjusted using the format command. The console window has been
rewritten and should be more robust and faster. Contour plots in 2D
and 3D are now supported, along with labels. Anonymous and nested
functions are now supported. Audio record/playback functionality has
been added via the wavplay/wavrecord/etc. functions. Performance and
memory usage have also been improved.

Freemat is an intepereted, matrix-oriented development environment
for engineering and scientific applications, similar to the
commercial package MATLAB. It provides visualization, image
