hi,

i'm not on the list, please CC replies to me.

machine: Dell Precision Workstation 420.  Dual processor capable,
only one processor installed.  I got the WARNING message on booting
kernel 2.4.2 (vanilla), and am forwarding the boot log to the list
as per the WARNING message request...

i'll be happy to supply additional info if desired.
