Hi,
A while ago I discussed with you and the linux-smp-list about my Intel
Xpress motherboard with dual P60-cpu's, and how it didn't work with the
IO-APIC. Well, as of 2.3.99-pre5 and Ingo Molnar's two latest
smp-x86-patches (smp-2.3.99-5-B2 and smp-2.3.99-6-A5), it works! The box
has been running with no problems since yesterday, and I've been doing
some heavy work on it, just to see how stable it is, and I'm impressed -
2.3 has never been this stable for me. You can get Ingo's two patches at
http://people.redhat.com/mingo/smp-x86-patches/ . Well, that's my 2
cents, just letting you know. I'm attaching the dmesg from the smp-box,
and also Cc'ing this mail to linux-smp.
