I am not sure that someone else did not mention this already,
but it may be worth .. okay it is worth.. switch that CPU to
another socket and seeing what happens. ie move CPU 2 to CPU 1
and CPU 1 to CPU 2.. if you still have the same result it is not
a dead processor but bad reporting, which means that something
patched wrong, probably in the proc/array.c file.. if it
switches from CPU 2 to CPU 1 after the switch then it is a dead
CPU....
