O.K. I just made a TSC-patch for linux-2.3.1.  It should be work fine for 
linux-2.2.9 too.  You can find my patch from

	http://www.ima.umn.edu/~klee/linux-smp.shtml

	$ cd /usr/src/linux
	$ patch -p1 < TSC-2.3.1-patch
