IMHO, a proper SMP HOWTO would be the best format for the scope
and variety of information needed for current and prospective SMP users.
It would also ensure proper distribution throughout the Linux
community in the widest variety of formats (including printed texts).
(I have already suggested this to a few list members privately).

Any prospective HOWTO author(s) should approach Greg Hankins of the LDP.
