udp/137 is the netbios-ns, I keep this filtered out on mine with this-
in the tcp section-
ignore tcp tcp.source=tcp.netbios-ns,tcp.dest=tcp.netbios-ns
and in the udp section-
ignore udp udp.source=udp.netbios-ns,udp.dest=udp.netbios-ns

Not sure why, but the following are accepts-
accept udp 30 udp.dest=udp.netbios-ns
accept udp 30 udp.source=udp.netbios-ns
and mine seems to work ok.
Now that I've -finally-(hopefully!) got my DNS working, the link only
comes up when it should.

Make sure you've got the netbios stuff listed in your /etc/services-
netbios-ns 137/tcp
netbios-ns 137/udp
netbios-dgm 138/tcp
netbios-dgm 138/udp
netbios-ssn 139/tcp
netbios-ssn 139/udp

After that, browsing (and booting) shouldn't bring up the link, though
most of my MS-stuff is NT rather than 95, so your-mileage-may-vary.
The request showing as being from the fake slip address is typical,
maybe an artifact of IP-masq?

I'm curious too, but I won't play with it on my diald machine. Anybody see
any FAQ's on the new ppp?
