The 2 warnings you received are informational and should not be the 
cause for any problems you may be experiencing.

MP table in the EBDA can be UNSAFE is only a problem if the server 
doesn't boot, once the server is booted the MP table is read and no 
longer needed.

unexpected IO-APIC means that the IO-APIC detected is not on a 
white-list, which is fine since when new hardware comes out this will 
happen.

Maybe you might try booting with the "noapic" kernel parameter and see 
if you still experience system hangs.
