I had just installed this kernel, and found an error in the log, messages. This is \
running on RH 7.3 with the following kernel:

[root@barton root]# uname -a
Linux barton.tripil.com 2.4.20-20.7smp #1 SMP Mon Aug 18 14:46:14 EDT 2003 i686 \
unknown

The error in the log is as follows:
