Subject: Unknown APIC found message in kernel 2.4.21

To whoever receives this,

As the message from dmesg requests, I'm reporting an 'Unknown APIC found'
message. I've included the full text of dmesg as an attachment.

I was only able to get this new machine running somewhat smoothly under
2.4.21 (vanilla sources). Under 2.5.74 (development sources), there was
much more stuff not recognized. If you would like, I can forward the dmesg
text from that as well.

If there is any other information I can provide you, please feel free to
ask. While IANAP, I'm reasonably competent at following instructions.

Thank you,
Guy
