Hello List
I am a newbie. I want to know about NMI watchdog support. As per my
understanding to use that support we need to have some NMI watchdog card
(that is some hardware is must). Is my understanding correct ??

If the hardware need is a must, then can any body suggest me any cheaper
hardware ?

Is there any way to generate NMI using without any hardware ? However I have
found one way on google which is given at following link (it says about
generating NMI using the paper clip on ISA bus, by shorting A1-B1 pins): -
