Subject:    ASUS motherboard problem with 2.4.9-31smp

Hi, I've been asked to get Linux running on a two-way SMP system for a
local school.  I'm using RedHat's 7.2 with 2.4.9-31smp.  The
uniprocessor kernel boots fine, no problems, but the SMP kernel hangs
with "WARNING: Unexpected IO-APIC, please mail to
linux-smp@vger.kernel.org."  What information I can send you that would
help?

FYI, I will be sending this to RedHat, too.
