Hello,

here is the requested mail for IO-APIC. 

We are using kernel revision 2.4.10 on a Supermicro P4DC6 Dual Xeon board.
Adding a Myrinet card this leads to problems as experienced an confirmed
by http://www.myri.com/scs/READMES/README-linux unless the noapic switch
is provided on boot.

If there is anything else we can contribute or an alternative solution to
this problem, please tell me.
