Hi,

I'm trying to use Redhat 7.1 on my SMP system and I get the following
error when I try and boot it (btw, I'm using the 2.4.2-smp kernel that
comes with RH 7.1 out of the box):

testing the IO APIC.................................
WARNING: unexpected IO-APIC, please mail
to linux-smp@vger.kernel.org
......................................done
calibrating APIC timer...
..... CPU clock speed is 1004.2620 Mhz
..... host bus clock speed is 133.9280 Mhz
CPU: 0, clocks: 1339280, slice: 446426
CPU0<T0: 1339280, T1: 892848, D:6, S;446426, C:1339280>

It then hangs.

Anyway, my box has the following setup:
Asus CUV4X-D
2x PIII 1ghz

So, what do I need to do to get the smp kernel to boot? I don't mind
using the single CPU kernel, but I did spend the extra money for a reason
:).

Thanks,

Andrew
