Hi,
Just cause I'm bored and want to amuse people I'll post my story of
how I ended up sticking with slackware. I've used windows for years
and saddly have known it is a pain to fix when it breaks. Anyhow, my
dad bought a copy of, err two copies of XP PRO one year. So I upgraded
of course. Then I was like wow more stable and all. Big mistake I put
in SP1 and BAM! So I started over without SP1 just the other patches.
Then my system started getting slow, though I added no new software. I
found out the patches were doing it. So I nuked it again and started
over, needlessly explained other stuff went wrong. I got ticked off
for the last time and said time to find a good linux distro. I
remebered hearing about slackware, so I figured heck lets try it. So I
did now I love slackware. Now I say XP = problem Linux = fix.
