am using linux native 83. i used the boot disk of another linux installation
and edited the lilo.config file

What kind of file system are you using for you slackware system? If you
are using UMSDOS, i think then that that sits ontop of the windows system
in a special directory.

How did you get access to the lilo.conf file?
