Downloading files is an option. A new CD is about to be released
providing RTAI v22.2.4 for Linux 2.2.16. This CD includes an installer
which untars the downloadable files and optionally configures your
system to run the new kernel.

The software on the CD has been tested with Redhat 6.2, Caldera
OpenLinux 2.3, Debian 2.1, Mandrake 7.1, and Suse 6.4 Linux
installations.

Suggest you have a look at
www.lineo.com/products/realtime_linux/index.html and
www.lineo.com/products/rtlinux_cd/cdroadmap.html

As you will see from the e-mail address I'm biased towards the CD route!

Regards
Alan Hilton
