Thanks for your prompt reply,
I want to replace the Newbridge Mainstreet 2700 series DTU because there is a monthly \
fee attached by the local Telco. I also see some folks using a device known as a \
WebRanger which I reckon must be a DTU + Router.

More about the ISDN...
Kenstream is a multiservice network providing frame relay access in an ISDN like \
service as an economical alternative to permanent switched ISDN. The two datastreams \
are rate adapted and then prepared for subrate multiplexing The Newbridge 2700 series \
DTU connects data devices (routers) to a 2B1Q or 27LC2 channel unit installed in \
large multiplexers at the Telcos premises. ISDN BRI physical layer compartibility \
(ANSI T1.601 - 1992 compliant) is achieved using 2B1Q line encoding. Note that ANSI \
T1.601 compliant ISDN U interface repeaters can be used to extend loop lengths beyond \
7 kms between the DTU and the Telco's Mainstreet 3600 series multiplexers.
