FC2 doesn't load megaraid2 drivers nessasary for the PERC4 controller.
You can build a Driver Disk by compiling the driver code on another box
and going through the irritation of manually creating a DD for FC2.
Unfortunately, FC2's DD routine has a bug during install that won't
actually let you load the drivers from a DD even though it appears to.

Yes, I went through this exact pain.

You theoretically could roll your own ISO disk which includes the correct
megaraid2 driver on CD but I couldn't tell you where to start.

FC3-test3 does correctly find PERC4 and load the right megaraid driver.
However, it is a pre-release version and there are some things in it that
aren't quite right.

RHEL3, Whitbox EL 3, and other RHEL3 derivitives are *supposed* to work
but I can't personally confirm this.

Peace favor your sword
