IF all else fails you can try the Linuxcare Bootable Toolbox.
http://lbt.linuxcare.com/ It's a 50MB Bootable ISO. Burn it to cd and start 
from there.

If it's booted.

modprobe aacraid (megaraid/aic7xxx)
mkdir /mnt/rootfs
mount /dev/sda? /mnt/rootfs
chroot /mnt/rootfs lilo

Reboot
