Ok I've put _half_ of this patch in.  The second change isn't according
to the coding style of the majority of the kernel files.  It's supposed
to be:

/*
 * mumble mumble mumble...
 * more mumbles
 * and yet more
 */

or in the case of a single line:

/* mumble */

I'll fix these up.
