Just save the patch as an ASCII text file (i.e my_driver_fix.patch)

And patch your kernel using the patch binary on top of your Linux
kernel source directory.

For example:

$ cd /home/javier/development/linux-omap-2.6
$ patch -p1 < my_driver_fix.patch
