Hmm, that looks odd.  Do you have NT installed on cdrom partition?  I
just do this:

smbmount //hostname/drive /mnt/localdirectory  	# then hit return
Password:					# Thats what you then see

...then type your password, and provided you've set up everything
properly, you're mounted
