I hate bothering people with my problems, but I'm comming to a point
where I have the choice to tear my hair out, or by a Mac...

THE PROB: I have weird telnet problems on my LAN. Sometimes it works,
sometimes it doesn't... There is one Linux machines that acts like a server
i's called eclipse. The others are Win, OS/2... I have no DNS. Among things
I have detected that a host couldn't telnet to eclipse if that host was
declared in eclipse's /etc/hosts. So I took out all declarations... At a
certain point a machine with ip 192.168.1.8 couldn't telnet if another
machine with 192.168.1.3 was connected. At this point I call that NET-SCIFI!

THE SETUP:
eclipse 192.168.1.1 Linux server
death 192.168.1.2 WinfW client
coma 192.168.1.3 Dos, and one day XTerminal
p-spit 192.168.1.8 Win95
oman 192.168.1.4 MacOS
sandra 192.168.1.5 Win95 client

SETUP ON ECLIPSE:
