I just tried 2.3.99-pre3 and found some oddities... First, I tried
compiling, and got 2 undefined references. Seems I choose to compile
ide as module, since I run scsi but have an ide cdrom, and that meant
ide.c didn't get compiled. Makefile problems I guess.

Then everything went fine until I added 2.3.99 in lilo.conf and wrote
'lilo'. I then got 8 "hda: driver not present". That's strange... And
when trying to paste the errors into a file, xemacs semfaulted. It now
does so every time I paste something using the mouse.

I also got the hda errors on boot...

Attaching my lilo.conf, the lilo error output, and my dmesg output:

lilo.conf:
boot=/dev/sda4
root=/dev/sda4
install=/boot/boot.b
map=/boot/map
vga=extended
delay=0

image=/boot/bzImage-2.3.99-pre3
	label="2.3.99-pre3"
	vga=extended
	read-only

image=/boot/bzImage-2.2.11-experimental
	label="Debian 2.2.11"
	vga=extended
	read-only

image=/boot/bzImage-2.2.11
	label="2.2.11 old"
	vga=extended
	read-only

image=/boot/vmlinuz-2.0.36
	label="Debian 2.0.36"
	vga=normal
	read-only
---
